Council Supports Srengseng Sawah Bridge Construction Using CSR Funds

City Council supports new bridge construction to replace infeasible suspension bridge in Srengseng Sawah, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta using Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds.

Thus it is better to use CSR and we support it

"New bridge construction is not budgeted in City Budget 2018. Thus it is better to use CSR and we support it," said Abdurrahman Suhaimi, Vice Chairman of Commission D, Thursday (1/25).

He also reminds South Jakarta government to monitor new bridge construction progress on the location gradually.

"If needed, they can deploy daily personnel to monitor it. This is important to ensure good quality bridge construction," he added.

For information, South Jakarta government with Depok government are agreed to replace infeasible suspension bridge in Srengseng Sawah, South Jakarta.

South Jakarta Vice Mayor, Arifin said, new bridge will be built using CSR funds from private side. Its construction cost is estimated around Rp 400 million.
